PET OF THE
MONTH November 2007
"Rusty" Wolf
Rusty came to us
by way of the Northern Ocean County Animal Shelter. He was a
surrender dog of between 4 1/2 & 5 1/2 months old. We took him
home with us in April 2006 and he has been everything we expected.
We love him to death & he is completely spoiled.
Unfortunately, I
neglected to watch him closely this spring in front of our house
& he was hit by a hit & run driver. He laid with blood
coming out of his ears near death. We rushed him to Dr. Christman
and after stabilization rushed him up to Garden State Veterinary
Services in Tinton Falls. He remained there for 5 days where he was
treated for brain trauma & lost the use of his right eye &
left paw. The paw was bandaged for 3 months than after several
meetings with Dr. Christman & his associates the left leg was
amputated. He is now recouperating and doing very well thankfully to
all the staff of Brick Town Veterinary Hospital especially Dr.
Christman.
We love Rusty to
death as he sleeps in our bed every night. GOD is
good!!! |
