Dr. Weiss recently received a wonderful letter from
one of our clients that we would like to share:

"A little FYI on an event we held to honor our rescued greyhounds, Hope and Norma
and to help the waiting dogs.
We rescued through Greyhound Angels in Pennsauken, NJ. We learned the kennel was
in need. We had an orphan house party and it was a huge success! Maybe this will give
some of your patients an idea to do an event for the breed close to their hearts.
Our guests donated close to $700 in checks and a garage full with supplies. We felt
so great and amazed that in this economic climate people would be so generous. The
party was very upbeat and my cousin who is a singer/guitar player rocked us with dog
tunes ('Who Let the Dogs Out', 'Hound Dog', 'Doggy in the Window', etc). It was a
great day!"

The Paws for a Cause 8th Annual Dog Walk was a great success; we were
able to raise over $7000 for the Jersey Shore Animal Shelter! A big thank
you to everyone who came out, volunteered, and contributed!
